Fabrication Design Drawings and Technical Illustrations
A metal fabricator typically works from engineering drawings or blueprints when creating products. These drawings provide detailed instructions on the size, shape, and specifications of the finished product.
Design drawings and technical illustrations are an essential part of the fabrication design process because they help ensure that the final product meets the required specifications.
At Latmet Fabrications, we are fortunate to have an in-house graphic designer to help us create detailed drawings of your design based on your ideas and requirements coupled with our fabrication expertise and experience.
All of our designs are individually tailored as well as bespoke to meet your specific requirements and used to create the final product.
How the design process works
The design process usually starts with a consultation to discuss your ideas and requirements. We will then produce a series of sketches or drawings to capture your vision. These sketches are used to create the final design, which can then be used to create the final product.
Once the design is complete, we will provide you with a quote for the fabrication and installation of your product. We will also provide you with a detailed schedule of works, so you know exactly what to expect and when.
If you are happy with the quote and schedule of work, we will proceed to the fabrication stage.
